The Churchill Pride – October 2, 2017

Good morning Churchill community,

We would like to start off by thanking all of the parents and students for coming last Sunday to be a part of the District 54 Run to Read.  I am thrilled to say that the trophy will stay at Churchill!  Churchill families and staff demonstrated that we not only have a focus on academic learning, but that personal wellness is a huge priority as well!  These are both going to be excellent habits for our children to continue to Don’t forget that this Thursday and Friday we will be holding our Fall Student-Led Conferences.  Please call the office if you have not been able to schedule your child’s conference.  These conferences focus on the progress that your child is making.  Please make sure to bring your child with you to the conference so that they can share their accomplishments and goals with you as well.  Please remember that this Thursday, October 5th is a half day of school for all students.  Students will be dismissed at 11:40 a.m.

Enjoy the beautiful weekend ahead,

Sincerely,

Steve Kern                               Carol Novak
