Dear Churchill community,
It was great to see parents and students attending our Virtual Parent Teacher Conferences! Our children have accomplished so much in this new learning format! Thank you for attending our meetings to help us celebrate your child!
Don’t forget that next week some of our students have selected the In-Person 5 day a week program. On Sunday we will be sending an email to the parents of the students who are registered for the in person program with notes and reminders.
Steve Kern and Christi Sosin
The third trimester will be starting soon. Our students who are attending in person school will receive their material packets from their teachers the week of February 22nd.
Students who are remaining in the full virtual learning model will need to pick up their materials for the third trimester. We have two pickup times for you to attend. Parents can stop by on Tuesday, February 23rd from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. or on Wednesday, February 24th from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Please be sure to drive up in the front driveway during these time slots to receive your child’s 3rd trimester materials!
With the safety mitigation measures we have in place during the COVID-19 pandemic, please do not send Valentine’s cards or treats to school with your children as we will not be able to distribute them to other children.
Families must begin the process by completing an online registration (starting January 25th) prior to securing an appointment.
If you have a student currently enrolled in District 54, you can register your incoming kindergartener through your Parent Portal account. Families new to District 54 can register through the link on our website (http://sd54.org/registration).
Once your online registration is complete, you will be contacted to schedule your in person appointment to complete your student’s registration. If you have any questions, please contact our office.
Once again we are reaching out to our families and asking you to participate in the annual Illinois 5Essentials Survey to provide us with your perspective and help guide our school improvement efforts. The parent survey will be available online through April 2, 2021, at survey.5-essentials.org/Illinois.
