PTA Birthday Books
Our PTA loves to celebrate students, especially on their birthdays!
Birthday Books is a PTA program that gifts a book to each Churchill student for their birthday every year. Students select one book of their choice from a variety of genres and authors during their lunch hour. This program meets four times a year during the lunch hour, and celebrates three months of birthdays each time so that all students receive a book. This program is funded by Scholastic dollars the PTA earns during the annual book fairs. Be sure to shop the book fairs to help support this program!
On February 15th, we will be celebrating February, March and April birthdays! If your child is absent on the day for their birthday month, there will be a make up day in May.
PTA Hospitality Event
Please come join us on Thursday, February 23rd for our winter hospitality event; Churchill February Family Fun. The event will be from 5:00-6:30pm. Come when you can to play BINGO, Simon says (with an opportunity for the audience being Simon), as well as solving some Churchill themed riddles for a chance at grade level raffle prizes. Snacks will be available free of charge. We look forward to sharing time together while also building increased listening, attention and thinking skills.
