We would like to honor and thank all Veterans throughout the Churchill community. Please see below to help us celebrate our Churchill role models.
Hall of Veterans
One of our Churchill hallways will be solely dedicated to celebrating our veterans. All you need to do is fill out the poster, which is being sent home with each student, with information about the veteran you know and a picture. If you do not have a picture, the student can draw a portrait. If you need more than one copy, please let your child’s classroom teacher know. These can be be turned in to your child’s classroom teacher no later than Wednesday, November 5th.
Veterans Day Assembly
Churchill will hold an all-school assembly on November 11th. Veterans of our students and staff that are interested in and able to attend are welcome to be a part of the assembly. Veterans will be invited to share their name, branch of service, where and when they served, and who they are related to from Churchill. Veterans are more than welcome to come in uniform or in any military-issued gear they possess. This will be a memorable experience for all involved.
