Arrival Procedures
Our parking lot will be closed starting at 8:25-8:40am to ensure our buses can enter the parking lot and drop off students’ safely.
Students who walk to school or are dropped off by car will line up on our back pavement in front of their classroom number and enter through the back doors. Student supervision begins at 8:25am. Students will be able to enter the building starting at 8:30am. If your child is arriving at school after 8:40am and their class has headed into the building, they should enter through Door 1, the main office doors.
Tardy Procedures
Students who are tardy to school (arriving after 8:40) will need to be signed in by a parent or guardian in our front office.
Dismissal Procedures
All of our K-6 students will have supervision when exiting their classrooms and locating their bus in our front driveway. Additionally, we will have supervision at all doors where students may exit to walk home or be picked up. Please see the information below for the release door of parent pick up and walkers:
Kindergarten and 1st Grade: Door 14
2nd Grade: Door 15
3rd and 4th Grade: Door 11
5th and 6th Grade: Door 12
Dogs, of any size, are not allowed on school property. We have students who have allergies to dogs and others who are afraid of dogs. We also know that sometimes dogs can be unpredictable in how they respond to people. For all of these reasons we do not allow any dogs to be present on school property during arrival and dismissal time, or anywhere on school property while school is in session.
