Please see the message below written by our current Churchill PTA:
As many of you saw with the earlier flyer that went home a few weeks ago, the Churchill PTA has several open board positions, with the most vital being the President seat. Without a PTA President, the PTA cannot run. This means we won’t have a PTA going into the 2024-2025 school year. Without a PTA, the school will not be able to host PTA sponsored evening community events that kids and families look forward to each year.
Please consider stepping up to join PTA for the next upcoming term.
We have the following board seats open:
1. President- Goes to monthly STC meetings and reports back to the school with updates, works closely with the principal and ensures the PTA runs smoothly
2. VP1- Responsible for getting PTA members, often at PTA events to try and obtain more members there too
3. Secretary- At each meeting and takes minutes for the President using a standard template
