In April, Churchill will be celebrating cultural diversity! This celebration helps to recognize and honor the diversity that surrounds us all. It is our hope that we, as a school, can celebrate our differences and similarities in order to gain a deeper understanding of one another. An opportunity to complete a cultural family project will be coming home by Friday, April 5th. You can help your child decorate their part of a quilt that will be put together for a Churchill Culture Quilt. As part of highlighting various cultures, we are asking if anyone has flags or traditional clothes from their countries to be used and worn by your child during an assembly in April (all items will be returned) please contact [email protected].
